Major Actions Taken to Date

As of April 6, 2012, EPA has obligated over 99.9% of its $7.2 billion ARRA allocation. Outlays have now exceeded $6.63 billion (93.3%) and four EPA ARRA programs, the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF), the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF), the Leaking Underground Tanks and the Superfund abandoned hazardous waste site clean up program, have now outlayed over 90% of appropriated funds. EPA's Clean Diesel (89.8%) and Brownfields (72.5%) programs continue to make excellent progress as well.

Major Planned Actions

EPA will continue to monitor Q2 2012 recipient reporting which ends on April 14.

EPA will continue to monitor expenditure progress of all ARRA grant awards to ensure completion by September 30, 2013.
