Recipient Reporting Ends

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), Section 1512, mandated that recipients of ARRA contract, grant, and loan awards report quarterly on the status of those awards.  However, the January 17th enactment of the Federal Government’s Fiscal  Year ’14 Omnibus Spending Bill brings an end to Section 1512 reporting as of February 1, 2014, making Quarter 4, 2013 the last time recipients will report on the status of their awards.

Recipients and agencies are currently reviewing and finalizing Quarter 4, 2013 data which will be posted to Recovery.gov on January 30, 2014.  The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board is working in collaboration with the Office of Management and Budget to develop a process for recipients and agencies to review reports and make final corrections after February 1, 2014.

Since the first reporting period in October 2009 and through January 14, 2014, the status of approximately 270,000 ARRA awards was reported on by recipients of those awards.
