The number of jobs created is calculated in accordance with OMB guidance and FAR Section 52.204-11. During FY09, inception to date, 25,316.72 hours were charged to ARRA projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and labor hours/costs were captured separately for each ARRA project. These labor hours were divided by the annual median productive hours estimate (1730) pro-rated by project start date to create an FTE-equivalent for each project. The FTE-equivalents were summed and reported as the number of jobs here. These are not all new positions, as the OMB guidance and calculation was used. Project-specific information, including number of jobs and the types of jobs (using LANL job categories), is available in the detailed project summaries for FY09 submitted to NNSA/LASO as required. |
